Chartreuse The Chocard

Author 'Charly' (Id 182678 ) : The chocard à bec jaune (Pyrrhocorax graculus) is a bird which frequents the pastures on the high mountain near the cliffs. It lives in large groups that divide to go feed in the steering wheel at the edge of the cliffs to land in the meadows. In the summer they are found above the lines, wooded, while in the winter they descend lower, in the high valleys.

Nice montage, it is true that with a little patience you can print easily enough. There are still many of the Charming Som (but not as many tourists...).

Charly, excellent this installation that reveals beautiful posture of this bird unknown to me... Then, like that, you forgot to add 'the sparkle in the eye...

Beautiful presentation of these chocards, the young chocard has the yellow beak and black legs up to about a year and then they turn red. Nicole g.

The chocard in all its states is superbly put in values. Splendid colors and magnificent landscapes of presentation : bravo Charly and thank you.

I love , simply, your editing is perfect, the bird though scary, is superbly represented ; very nice idea to have put this lovely background (Pyrenees-Atlantiques), I guess )

The chocard has nothing to fear : it is only the size of a large thrush.
The bottom is the place where I took these birds in the Grande Chartreuse (see location)
Thank you for your comment and implementation favorites.

This bird is all black with yellow beak, I thought it was a raven. An excellent mounting of the chochard on his natural environment as the background. Thank you, Charly and bravo.

Very beautiful and very rational mounting. The birds on the bottom of their natural environment. Photos at the top of the mountain when they fly, on the mountain when they are resting. A composition model.

It is a good idea to bring together a series of photos on the same theme in the form of a photo montage. Attention, some eyes are not enough and even not at all, constant problem on the birds with black plumage. It is necessary to pay attention that the sun shines on the eye otherwise the bird will be blind (as it does in the bottom right).
