Cups on the tree Beech

Author 'Ninik' (Id 229651 ) : It is autumn and the cups of this beech will soon open to release the beechnuts. There are 3 or 4 per cup, and are edible but hard to open. When I was a kid, I pulled on and left to dry near the stove before you peel them and eat them, but I no longer have the courage to pick it up.

Well, I didn't know that the beechnuts were edible for us humans ! This branch net and full of fruits form a beautiful set of colours and materials : the bluish-green-powder-smooth leaves and the hairy brick of fruit. Well seen, Ninik !
(I have the misfortune (and the happiness, because I love this tree, it is I who have planted) to have a beech tree in my garden : at this time, it is a disaster, I spend my time picking up kilos of blisters that covered the grass, cyclamen... and the sidewalk. I hope at least that the squirrels take advantage of !).
