Congratulations: it's very beautiful. Can I use it to illustrate a lesson?

Insects visible well detailed in its environment : it allows rapid identification.

Your picture is excellent for an identification of these small parasites, it is actually rare to see them with the magnifying glass, then bravo and thank you.

Very nice photo. Knowing that these aphids have only 1mm long, what a beautiful sharpness ! They to me are more nice on the photo than in reality.

Very nice macro, the critters are so small. As you say so well... looking forward to the birth of ladybugs because there will be beautiful pictures of roses to do.

The result is not bad at all, because it is not easy to present us with these little aphids. A crop from the left is at the bottom would not hurt.

It is already a great achievement for taking pictures of critters so small.

These 'green Aphids' (Aphis pomi) are easily identifiable with their antennae and legs black. This macro is excellent and presents a small colony. I warn 'sos-ladybugs'. Good documentary photo : bravo and thank you.

As said by Marcel, may be a crop, but in macro it's the subject that counts, and I've had other opinions on the photos I've filed on a portal, I don't know who is right.
Your picture pleases me well, the aphids are well-defined, almost in their intimacy. I'll be there to thank you for these macros.

When we have already seen aphids, and that you manage to photograph them like this it's a pity that they are centered

When I think that it is thanks to these harmful that we can enjoy every year Fir honey (Abies)

As Jacotte I never thought to photograph them. I crush it with my fingers and then using a spray (black soap diluted in water)and I sprinkled in places where they were. As soon as I see ladybugs I put on the roses.

When I see them on my rose bushes I'm not running to get my camera, but my anti aphid !

> K.matty [G] [P] [C] >Reply Jan 28, 2008
This is the first time I see aphids up close... Beautiful shot, with great sharpness given the size of these 'critters'...

> Marcel >Reply Jan 28, 2008
The sharpness is correct for magnification. However, the subject is in the center. It should be crop the image by cutting it to the right and to the top or bottom(your choice) in the correct proportions.
