Insect bee fly Bee-flies

Author 'Nicole.barberon' (Id 16961 ) : I have had great difficulty to take this insect photo, because it is moving very quickly, like the Hummingbird, the it sucks the nectar of a gaillardia, with his fluffy hair and its long wrong, I think it's a bee fly.

This 'Great Bombyle' (Bombylius major) is well captured in its approach to the yellow flower. Pretty diagonal : bravo and thank you.

I'm not ready to make such a beautiful shot. But with time who knows. Congratulations.

It is beautiful, NICOLE ! All your photos are being sought to appeal to the maximum. It is a fact that they are never 'typed' blind to post.

Not easy to take these little beasts, one distinguishes in his trunk, and his 2 big eyes.

It is indeed a Bombyle european (Bombyllus discolor). It flies like birds hummingbirds.
