Like all crab spiders this 'Thomise swollen' (Thomisus onustus) sets in ambush on the top of the flower, 'Lavender', where she weaves her trap fatal. Splendid capture and presentation : bravo and thank you.

Superb presentation of this spider-crab net on these lavender flowers which stand out well on the green background blur. Bravo.

I don't know about that spider, but the photo is superb.

I confirm, it is the spider crab (Thomisus onustus)that is going to take quite quickly the color of the material(lavender flower) on which it is located. Thus it merges with the flower, and may surprise the insects. The latter allow themselves to be misled. It is a formidable hunter. Bravo for this great macro, we showing it in action.

This is a spider of the family of Thomisidés : a 'Thomisus onustus'. As for the photo, I find the colors a bit too saturated.
