I bumble gnawing the insulation in my roof, it makes noise and insulation takes a hit, what to do.

I've never seen elsewhere on the wisteria, whether the first spring bloom or the second which takes place in late June / early July.

I prefer to see a photo in real size impressive!: 7:

Great to watch! But it destroyed a beam of 20cm square in no time by digging a nest to lay its larvae digging out!

Not very aesthetic but, paradoxically, raised on the sunny lantana, she became photogenic! : 3:

Now that I've seen and read, what is a xylocope, just by chance, (I was looking for to show my son the difference between the bite of a wasp and one bee), I wonder why I've seen both this summer and what wood rot at me (or near me). Anguish...

It may be a little centered but it is not always easy to take an insect photo. The colors are beautiful and give a lot of gaiety to the whole.

It is a Hymenopteran Igh, the Xylocope purple or “Bee carpenter” or “Bee building” Xylocopa violacea. Despite its size and the noise impressive of its flight, the bee only stings virtually never. The qualifier chapentière comes from the fact that it makes its nest in the wood... Very nice photo !

Great photo Mimi, I like it not so much these beasts there, but they are useful.

The insect... It is a cannon, it seems to me you have learned on this site, and very clean but a little too centered for my taste... Congratulations anyway !
