Petit village d'Auvergne, Fay sur Lignon.
Bâti sur un dyke basaltique à 1 200 m d'altitude, le village conserve dans son église et les maisons avoisinantes, les traces du passé.
Place forte, enjeu de combats lors des guerres de religions, le bourg devint une halte sur la route entre Velay et vallée du Rhône. L'agriculture, l'élevage de bovins surtout, reste l'activité principale du canton.

Aujourd'hui je me suis demandée pendant, une seconde, si j'avais eu raison de prendre le bateau, car il y avait des creux d'1, 50 mètres à 2 mètres dans la rade de Marseille.
L'association l'office de la mer a mis en effet à la disposition du public des navettes pour suivre une course de voiliers. Course annulée du fait de la houle mais sortie bateau moteur maintenue pour le plus grand plaisir du public.
Ici acalmie à l'Île du Frioule, ou se trouve le voilier l'Alliance qui d'habitude est amarré en face de la mairie de Marseille.

En allant renouveler notre abonnement au théâtre, à Charleroi, une belle éclaircie m'a permis de prendre des photos à Charleroi, dont celle-ci, qui se trouve sur la même place, presque en face de l'hôtel de ville.

Charleroi (Province du Hainaut - Belgique) - Hôtel de ville
Le 1er palais de justice de Charleroi fut transformé en hôtel de ville en 1887 et inauguré en 1936.
Les 2 pilastres d'angle sont surmontés par des statues : l'une est une allégorie de la famille, l'autre de l'administration communale.
Des bas-reliefs ornent les 7 faces des balcons. Elles ont trait, de gauche à droite, aux finances, aux comptes, à l'instruction publique, au mariage, à la naissance, à la police, et au décès.
Charleroi (Province of Hainaut - Belgium) - The City Hall 1st courthouses Charleroi was transformed into a town hall in 1887 and inaugurated in 1936. The 2 corner pilasters are surmounted by statues: one is an allegory of the family, another of the municipal administration. The bas-reliefs adorn the faces 7 balconies. They relate, from left to right, finance, accounts, public education, marriage, birth, police, and death.

This panel is rather unusual because the cheese alongside the french flag. A cheese-Mairie well deserved a photo. The panel is well placed to arrivals as indicated by the end of roof in the lower right corner. I advise you to stop you for cheeses unavoidable : County, Morbier, Gex, Mont d'or (end of the year) and enjoy a taste for the famous' Petit Saint-Point '...
