Passer un loop dans de telles vagues, il faut beaucoup d expériences et un gros coeur, j aime toujours autant faire des photos de windsurf, mais les trajets en petit bateau pour se rendre sur le spot ( voir une heure pour un aller ) c'est vraiment éprouvant , a noter aussi deux heures de voiture.

Surf à Esposende (Portugal) en octobre 2008.
A l'embouchure du Rio Cávado, lorsque c'est marée haute, les vagues de l'Océan Atlantique permettent aux amateurs de s'exercer au surf. On m'a dit qu'à Viana (plus au nord) il y avait un endroit très prisé par les surfeurs.
Inutile de dire que je n'ai pas réussi cette photo (prise au zoom) du premier coup.

Mer et plage - Esposende (Portugal) Octobre 2008
Photo prise près de l'endroit où le Rio Cávado se jette dans la mer. C'est un endroit fort prisé des touristes (absents à cette période de l'année) car il y a une belle plage de sable fin. A marée haute, certains s'y exercent au surf car les vagues sont alors plus fortes.

Je viens de refaire le stock de clichés des falaises de la côte d'Albâtre, cette fois en haute Normandie région de Biville sur mer.
De cet endroit on à un angle de vue sur une très grande longueur, j'ai voulu rendre l'opposition entre la majesté de ces falaises et les mouvements des vagues, ici elles éclataient sur des enrochements, je ne me poste jamais au pied des parois elles sont beaucoup trop dangereuses.
Les lumières étaient comme je les aime

L'isthme de Penthièvre, le seul petit bout de terre qui relie Quiberon du continent. C'est un joli endroit ou il fait bon de se promener. D'un côté la baie de Quiberon, une mer calme, paisible et reposante, de l'autre, l'océan à perte de vue, la côte sauvage et le fracas des vagues sur la plage.

Certains me diront que j'aurais pu recadrer en enlevant une portion de la partie d'eau en bas, mais j'ai voulu montrer que, même sur un fleuve, il y a des vagues (sans qu'il y ait eu passage d'un bateau).

Ici le sable est dur, l'eau froide et claire, en ayant de l'eau jusqu'au menton on peut voir ses orteils très clairement et les petits poissons qui tournent autour. Les vagues sont inexistantes et la plage familiale. Il faut s'éloigner de plus de 100 mètres pour perdre pied et quand l'on se retourne le spectacle des vieilles demeures accrochées à leurs rochers est très plaisant.

Encore la pointe du Raz, avec ici une photo assez remplie de défauts technique certes(le vent soufflait très fort, tout était en mouvement, l'autofocus s'affolait  ...) Mais tout de même, je la trouve spectaculaire. Ce goéland maîtrisant son vol et les éléments, plongea dans le vide, au dessus de l'écume bouillonnante et du bruit assourdissant des vagues qui frappaient sur les falaise. Au final, le volatile se laisse porter par les ascendants, la queue redressée pour contrôler la descente.

Collioure (Pyrénées orientales - 66)
Nous allons tous les ans faire un tour à Collioure et aimons observer les vagues qui se fracassent sur les rochers. Jadis il y avait un chemin aménagé le long des rochers, fait de parties cimentées, de passerelles en bois et en métal, et qui était assez impressionnant à certains endroits. Nous aimions beaucoup voir les para-commandos faire leurs exercices le long des rochers et dans la mer. Malheureusement, il y a quelques années, un enfant est tombé à la mer parmi les rochers et lui, ainsi que le parent qui a voulu le sauver, sont morts. Depuis, ce chemin a été interdit et est tombé en ruines. On en voit des restes le long des rochers.
Au loin, on aperçoit Argelès s/Mer.
